We will be presenting our partners in a series of articles in the INGEDE News.

Strong partner for secondary raw materials

Koppitz Disposal Technology is new INGEDE Partner

Koppitz Disposal technology has been a new INGEDE Partner since 11 August. The company in Knetzgau, founded in 1945, as a partner of municipalities organises the regular paper collection on-site at all households, as well as the coordinated removal of light packaging materials (Tetra Pak, mixed plastics, films, plastic bottles, hollow bodies, aluminum, PET, and Styrofoam), which are recorded within the framework of a value depot system. For disposal, Koppitz provides containers in all sizes for paper for recycling, films, wood, glass or other recyclable materials. Koppitz also operates a car recycling, where old and accident-vehicles are dismantled professionally; functional spare parts can be purchased by end customers in a second-hand warehouse as an inexpensive alternative to a new part.

The fully automated paper sorting plant uses state-of-the-art technology with paper spikes, various high-performance sscreens and multi-level NIR sorting systems, and processes more than 200,000 tonnes of paper for recycling from households and businesses every year. This results in about 130,000 tonnes of deinking grade, next to board (1.04) and f-mix.

For logistics, there is a fleet of vehicles available, from the settling vehicle to other rolling stock as well as press and thrust trucks, these are equipped with automatic roofs, which enable an accelerated loading.
